Practice Inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

The CQC is the independent regulator of all health and social care in England.  They are given powers by the government to register, monitor and inspect all health and care services.

The practice was inspected by the CQC on Monday, 10th October 2016.  We are delighted to be able to announce that Friar Gate Surgery was given an overall rating of Good.  Click below to see the full report:

The CQC would like to hear what you think about the care you receive here.  If you would like to talk to an inspector privately and in confidence contact the CQC on 03000 616161.  You can tell the CQC about your experience of care at any time online at www.cqc.org.uk/public/sharing-your-experience.

The Friends and Family Test is a way of gathering your feedback

The Friends and Family Test is a way of gathering your feedback, so we can continually review our service.

It is based on one single question:

"How likely are you to recommend our GP practice to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?"

You will also have the  opportunity to add other comments about your experience when attending the surgery.

Thank you for completing the Friends and Family Survey.
