    Talking Mental Health Derbyshire are here to help.
    They are a Derbyshire NHS IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) provider. They provide Free talking therapies to anyone over the age of 16 who is registered with a GP in Derbyshire.
    Talking therapies are a way to explore your concerns with a trained professional. They will help you to sort through your thoughts and get some relief from tension, in a safe place to explore how you feel. Then they will help you to gain a new understanding of your problems and plan what you want to do to overcome them. There is a large body of evidence to support the effectiveness of talking therapies for a range of mental health issues.

  • Insight Healthcare: Insight IAPT Service (Improving access to psychological therapies)

    Insight Healthcare provide access to NHS recognised talking therapies across Derby City and Derbyshire for people aged 18 and above. This includes the treatment of anxiety, depression, phobias, stress related mental health issues, carer burn out, struggles to adapt to a long-term health condition, trauma and bereavement. We use various cognitive behavioural approaches as well as counselling and guided self-help.
    They provide this service to people with long term health conditions (including long Covid) and who are off sick or at risk of going off sick due to mental health issues such as anxiety, low mood or stress.
    They provide treatment for fatigue and adjustment following a COVID-19 infection or the loss of a loved one.
    The service is Free to access to all those living in Derby City and Derbyshire. Online webinars, workshops as well as one to one therapy, agreed following a telephone assessment can also be accessed.

    Trent PTS offers a free psychological therapies service via telephone, online or face to face. Some of the problems we can help with:

    The therapies they provide have been shown by research to be the most effective forms of psychological therapy for the problems we work with.
    Their therapists can also help you manage the psychological impact of long term physical health conditions. If you also need help with finding work, returning to work from sickness or are having any problems within the workplace, their Employment Advisors are here to help during your treatment and beyond.
